Chloe took a nap while we were getting ready to go....and she didn't even need to be swaddled...isn't she precious?!?!!
The rotating globe fountain is always a fun attraction.
We watched the baby elephant (Zuri) and her mama for a while.
Zuri was so cute and playful.
We saw news trucks near the giraffe area...we couldn't figure out what the "news" was.
I heard later, but didn't realize it when we were there, that the baby giraffe was gone.
It'd died. :( I never heard the cause.
Chloe thought it was very bright out!
Ben and Molly enjoyed riding the carousel and the train.
The tiger exhibit was a bit of a disappointment...
Chloe and I were there earlier in the month.
No such luck though. They were all asleep way in the back. :-/

29 March 2010

Look at them hold up their heads, Chloe has the hardest time...Nice drool/spit-up shot of Milo, eh?
It was Chloe's first time.
We posed with the big scary (Lindy was terrified) elephant statue that makes weird noises: Maria, Julie, Monica, Grandma Neener, Amber, Me, Skylar, Paxton, Lindy, Dalton, Chloe, and Taylor.
Cute baby elephant cuddling with it's mama....that was one of the highlights of the trip!!
Taylor posing in front of the baby giraffe.
Grandma, Lindy, Paxton, Skylar (hidden), Dalton and Taylor
The Mama tiger and her 3 cubs...we thought it was the daddy for some reason. I later found out that it's the mama and that the daddy "will not be participating in the rearing of his cubs." :P
Chloe telling all about her first trip to the zoo. :)
Feeding the swan
Taylor playing with the rotating globe fountain

Chloe Grace and Grandma Grace. :)
Her cousins Lindy and Dalton were also there for a while.
After that we went to visit Grandma

And here's her 3 month size pic's:
