Tanner Dance

Molly's teacher has a class blog. I pilfered this picture from her blog and blurred/cropped the other kids that I don't have permission to post pics of on my blog. :P They're doing a dance unit with some dancers from the Tanner Dance company at the University of Utah. It's interpretive dance. It looks pretty fun. :)

Sisters

Chloe sure loves her big sister! She smiles and coos and laughs for her frequently. The second time I heard Chloe giggle it was when Molly was playing with her while Rob and Ben were at the priesthood session of General Conference (3 April 2010). We were at my parents' house and Molly had just changed Chloe's diaper and was playing with her. I ran in to get my camera and just missed the giggles. By the time I started recording they were still having fun, but Chloe was just squealing and cooing by then. It's still very cute tho!! But you know me, I'm not biased one bit. :D

Another Day at the Zoo

On Chloe's 3 month birthday, Ben and Molly were out on Spring Break and Rob took the day off so we decided to go to the zoo. Chloe and I had so much fun a few weeks before that we wanted to take everyone and go again (plus Ben and Molly were envious that we'd gone without them).

Chloe took a nap while we were getting ready to go....and she didn't even need to be swaddled...isn't she precious?!?!!

The rotating globe fountain is always a fun attraction.

We watched the baby elephant (Zuri) and her mama for a while.

Zuri was so cute and playful.

We saw news trucks near the giraffe area...we couldn't figure out what the "news" was.
I heard later, but didn't realize it when we were there, that the baby giraffe was gone.
It'd died. :( I never heard the cause.

Chloe thought it was very bright out!

Ben and Molly enjoyed riding the carousel and the train.

The tiger exhibit was a bit of a disappointment...

we were all hoping they'd be active and get in the water like they had when
Chloe and I were there earlier in the month.
No such luck though. They were all asleep way in the back. :-/

Chloe got tired of the stroller and wanted to cuddle. :)

Hangin' With The Cousins Again

Chloe's little "cousin-twin" that shares a birthday with her was blessed the Sunday before General Conference.

We took some size comparison pics again that day with Ryker, Milo and Chloe.

Chloe's First Trip to the Zoo

My sister Maria wanted to go to the zoo so a bunch of us decided to tag along.

(Maria is pregnant...I think she wanted to take her little baby(s) to the zoo.) ;)

It was Chloe's first time. Chloe Giggles

Chloe was very happy this day, and she let out her first giggle...it was very short, but it was a giggle. :) And she's giggled a bit more/longer several times since then.

Molly's 9th Birthday

Molly's birthday this year was pretty busy and crazy. (Including one traumatic misunderstanding/mishap/event where Molly got permission to go to a friends' house. She thought she told me which friend, and I thought she meant the friend she had just been playing with. She took the back-up cell phone and I told her I'd call her when it was time to come home. We called and called and called...no Molly. We drove around the neighborhood, going to every house we thought she could possibly have gone to, and finally found Molly. (She'd left the phone in her coat pocket, by their front door, and promptly forgot it.))

We did have a nice birthday dinner for her, thanks to Grandma Paula!!! Followed strawberry shortcake and strawberry ice cream. Followed by a few gifts. Her main gift this year, however, was tuition to some dance classes at a studio here in Day Break.

Bus Ride With Grandma and Grandpa

Chloe loves to snuggle. She snuggles her face down into my neck and cheek when she's going to sleep on my shoulder, and when she's in her bassinet, she snuggles her face right up into the bumper pad. It makes us nervous so we try to move her face away from it, but she turns right back every time. :P

The Sunday before Molly's birthday my parents wanted to spend some time with Molly for her upcoming birthday. They are very busy during the week with their mission of teaching English in the inner city wards so they took the opportunity to come by on Sunday night. They brought their bus/motor home to take Molly, and anybody else who wanted to tag along, for a ride. We drove up to Julie's house and picked up her and Dalton and Lindy (Dalton's birthday is the day before Molly's). The kids always have a blast riding in the bus. It was Chloe's first time. :) And it always brings back fond memories for me of all the good times/trips we had in that bus!! Lots of fun!! Thanks mom and dad for all the good times then and now!! :)
